Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES

after i installed the (v2.2ms2-051113), pictures cannot be uploaded. I have tried the previous two posts, like replacing the code of:

return=false;

with

$this=false;

return;

and another one is by changing the CHMOD from 644 to 755. But I even changed the CHMOD of the image category with 777. These two solutions didn't work at all. So I would like to request helps from anyone of you who has fixed the errors as mentioned above. I look forward to receiving any replies and helps from anyone of you. Thanking anyone of you in advanced.

Does the following line exist in your admin/includes/configure.php file?

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/');

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - A. Einstein

You need to place the:

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/');

line after the:

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']) . '/');

line and then you should be good.
