Onstar Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I just encountered a major problem after transaction. Here is how it happened: 1. Typed www.mywebsite.com on the browser 2. added a merchandise to shopping cart shop prompted me to log in (if a member) or create a new account 3. I created a new account 4. Entered shipping and credit card info 5. clicked on continue Immediately, I was returned to the sign in page 6. I signed it, but it looked like the email address and the password did not take. Though correct. 7. I closed the browser, logged in again 8. My merchandise still on the shopping cart 8. I put credit card info and clicked contine 10. I was returned again to log in page. So, I am not getting passed to the confirmation page. Has anyone experienced this before or know what I can do to fix it? Thanks for helping me.

Are you entering a coupon code in your testing? I am not entering any coupon codes. I see you created an account. It has no order(s) attached to it which is essentially what other problem I had too. Also, I didn't get any receipt of the transaction. So, it appears the transaction didn't go thru ( though this was a test environment).

If you are using the standard CC module or if you are willing to enable the Money Order payment module, I will place an order to complete the entire transaction. Onstar Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 I didn't complete the order for 2 reasons - I didn't want to place an order and I didn't have a valid CC number available. If you are using the standard CC module or if you are willing to enable the Money Order payment module, I will place an order to complete the entire transaction. You can make up credit card number. Try it if you could. I am trying to isolate this to my computer perhaps.

It got the order you placed. It does seem to be my computer. I don't know what that might be. My cache may be?

Good Morning Jim, I cleared my cookies and cache, it doesn't seem to work. I also used my work computer. I was able to go up to the payment info page. When I clicked continue, I was brought right back to sign in page. Here is what I did again: added a product to the cart prompted to log in Logged on was taken to delivery information page > payment information page Clicked on continue, got taken back to sign in page.
