Secure Server Switch-Catalogue/Product Pages Not Displaying-HELP!

Libido

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

I've just converted my adult retail store to osCommerce and over the past 2 days it's been switched to a secure server. The switch has caused some issues. The problem is the index.php page displays, but when you click on catagories, it does not display the catagories/products and calls this error: The requested URL /store/index.php/cPath/22 was not found on this server.

The pre-secure server switch version is working fine, found here:

Here is the problematic secure server version:

I'm not fluent in php and have had assistance setting this up. My server guy is also stumped.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Please note: THIS IS A WOMEN'S UPSCALE SEXUAL HEALTH SITE WHICH CONTAINS ADULT PRODUCTS. THERE IS NO PORNOGRAPHY THOUGH.

Thanks very much

Kelly G.

You have problems with the main domain and with the subdomain.

Your SSL certificate is 'self-signed' and a year out of date. So not only is it 'not trusted' because it is self-signed, but it is over a year past its expiry date - which is poor considering it is something you generate yourself from your web hosting control panel.

For a certificate to be 'trusted' it has to be issued to your domain but issued by a trusted provider of ssl certs, like Verisign, Geotrust etc. Your cert is issued to 'localhost.localdomain' by 'localhost.localdomain' - which makes it useless.

Yes, I'm aware the certificate is not valid. Newly purchased certificate is being installed tomorrow. Issue was with sub-cats not displaying but this has been fixed by altering "Use Search Engine Safe URLs" was changed from true to false. Apparently this was causing grief on the new server where it was moved too.

That did the trick. And thanks again for the reply.
