Slight Bug in Customers Phone Number

If customer enters his phone number as 0121 123456

 

Why does the shipping paperwork etc only show 012 123456

I think I mis phrased the problem.

 

When a customer enters his details, ie name and address, tel nos etc. And the order is completed.

 

He then says he has entered the details incorrectly.

 

So I go into the Administration/customers area, and change his details.

 

But the changed details do not come throu on the invoices or packing slip. If you go back to the Administration/customers area the corrected details are still there.
