SSL check before displaying ad

hey all,

i have this store where i like to display google ads in the header. But it causes the pop-up window to come saying there are insecure objects on the page when you visit the secure part of the site.

 

 

Is there a code i can include in the header to check whether the page is ssl or nonssl before displaying the ad on that page?

if the server of these ads supports ssl (they should), you could use the https by checking if you're on a secure connection.
