Hi,

I have just uploaded a number of files to my server after making some slight changes. I am now getting an error of:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'wayne'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/httpd/vhosts/autoextreme.co.uk/httpdocs/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

Whenever I go to my stores domain. The database.php file the error points to was unedited. What could have caused this and how can I put it right?!!

Cheers! :)

You need to check the database info in your configure.php files. If your admin is still working then copy and paste the database info from your admin/includes/configure.php to your includes/configure.php file.

If you admin is not working then you just need to manually edit the files correcting any incorrect info.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.
