yanarasod Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 each time login to the admin section, i am asked for password twice. i am fed up typing it 2 times whenever i login, is there a soln.

Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH

user99999999 Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 After you enter the password twice then copy the url from the browser address and use that. Its usually caused by switching to https or www. Each one would require to enter the password. http://mydomain.com http://www.mydomain.com https://mydomain.com https://www.mydomain.com
yanarasod Posted May 26, 2006 Author Posted May 26, 2006 ya, this is the thing that happens, if i type www.mysite.com, then after entering password, it takes to administration, and then clicking on any menus, then it asks for password again as it moves from www to mysite.com and when i type mysite.com, it required password twice at the same time, unlike the www, which asks for the password after clicing on configuration or any other menu, is it my mistake, or default osc feature
