No products displayed

Hi,

I have a setup problem that I have tried to figure out:

 

I have a database (emptied sample data from install)with products, catagories, and products_to_cataogoties setup along with other tables.

 

On my store I can display all catagories, with sub catagories where applicable

but none have any products to display.

 

I set the stock level on all to 5 to see if that makes any difference.

 

One catagorie will display in the center all sub catagories? but all the other are just on the left text box.

 

What I would like is a list of tables with their relationship to what is displayed

or the info to display one product.

Or a sort of check sheet for one product.(showing what is essential and what is not ie. date added ect?)

 

PLEASE make it SIMPLE!! as I have a little html knowlage.
