Urgent help needed... Hide certain product - I'm new

HI,

 

Where do I start to hide some products instead of deleting it?

 

Reason i want to do this is because when prod. is out of stock, I want to just hide it until I have more stock.

go into your admin tool and highlight the product you want to hide. Under the 'Status' column heading you'll see two red and green buttons next to each other. Click the red button to hide the product. It keeps it in your database - but removes it from the store front pages.

 

Press the green to unhide it and out it back on your store front.
