Cart does not empty on checkout

I have three stores. All are on the same web host, different domains.

One store works. The other two, which as far as I know, were et up the same way, do not work. You can go through the checkout process and your payment is taken (I've tested with PayPal and Authorize.net) but the confirmation page shows your cart is still full. The store does not email out a receipt, the sale is not recorded in the DB.

I can't for the LIFE of me figure out what's gone wrong - can anyone help? Im getting desperate!

I've now realized that the store that I tried PayPal on sends me back to the login page after successfuly taking my money via PayPal. <_<

The Authorize.net one takes me to the confirmation page, but nothing happens as far as my order actually going through. I'm guessing that one might have to do with the return URLs I have set?

Update: I totally re-installed the osCommerce on the PayPal one (but kept my database) and it till doesn't work. So, this indicates there's a problem with the database, right?

Please help me! :'(

Another update: After the re-install, I copied over some of my files like the customer headers and footers I had made previously, and suddenly, it works again.

Now for the Authorize.net one...

Hi

I have also had the same problem today but with WorldPay as the payment type, though this has worked before. A PayPal payment shortly before went through okay.

I'm assuming (hoping !!) that it's a one off glitch as I've not seen it before in the few months we've been running the site, but does anyone have a simple way of now getting the basket contents to the order table ? Or is it a case of manually entering the data ?

Many thanks for any help or advice

You shouldn't have to manually enter the order data, as my Authorize.net cart used to work perfectly with no intervention on my part. <_<

No one has any ideas or advice for me? :'(

If someone - anyone - who might be able to help could test this, you can go to http://www.whoshotgoldilocks.com/store/catalog and try to buy something. Use the Athorize.net CC test number (4111111111111111) and see what happens. The cart does not empty - no data is passed to the database. :( Authorize.net does, however, receive the payment.

PS ~ I know that there are broken image links on the cart.

I finally figured the dang thing out. My response URLs @ AUthorize.net were screwy. I deleted them and now it works. Doh.
