Attribute Error

Hi,

Please help with this if you can, I haven't got a clue :(

I just got this error when I tried to add another product attribute:

1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

insert into products_attributes values ('', '158', '18', '97', '21.55', '+')

[TEP STOP]

I've opened every products_attributes.php file I can find, but there are no values in them that look remotely like the ones I am told to add.

Thanks,

Brent.

It looks like you are missing a value/field in the database

You need to count how many fields there are in the table and also how many field there in the attributes form

Thanks for the reply crash,

I guess this means I need to go into myphpadmin and check things there. So I check the products_attributes table, yes? Where would I find the attributes form? Is that in my site admin where I am inputting the options?

Sorry, for being thick, you are being a great help,

Brent.

products_attributes_id

products_id

options_id

options_values_id

options_values_price

price_prefix

products_options_sort_order

attributes_sort

Anyone???

peterpan2004,

Still no answers to this one, but I worked out how to enter the products directly in myPHPadmin, so if you don't know and need to know in the meantime, just ask. It does at least mean that you can get your products up in a roundabout way.

Regards,

Brent.

you must find the php file that generates the error

insert into products_attributes values ('', '158', '18', '97', '21.55', '+')

Then you need to add the attributes_sort column value that is missing. Look on the address bar of your browser to see the php script name that causes the problem.
