Installing osCommerce without demo database

Hello,

Is it possible to install osCommerce without installing the demo database (hardware, sofware ...).

What do I have to take off from the sql script ?

You have to install most of it - all of the tables, plus all of the 'configuration' data. You may as well install the default database and just delete the default categories afterwards - it would be quicker.

As Vger said. There are only about 8 products if that in a new installation. Takes probably less than 5 minutes to delete the sample data.

I've done that deletion but when I access my catalog its only displays the demo catagories instead of mine. What gives?
