Itzys Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I have my tax set for NY but when someone from a different state purchases it charges them the NY tax. How do I configure to charge tax only to NY residents? Thanks

Itzys Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Hi Jason and all, these are the setting that I have now: Tax Zones is set to New York Tax Classes - is set to taxable goods Tax Rates - is set to NY tax 8.375 Upon check out and payment to customers out of my tax zone, charges of tax are still being charged. Make sure: Tax Zones is set to New York Tax Classes - is set to taxable goods Tax Rates - is set to NY tax (whatever it is)
