linking image to new page

Hi

 

I'm running a competition on my site.

 

As a result I'd like to link a JPeg image at the top of the page to a new page where I can list the terms and conditions etc?

 

only problem is I've not a clue how to do this?

 

any advice would be gratefully recieved

I'm struggling with both at the moment.

 

There are identical pages on the site I could, in theory just copy, and then just need to link to the image.

Have you thought about doing it as a banner?

That way you could have a simple static HTML page with the T&C and set-up is simplified through the banner management feature in Admin->tools.

That sounds like a great idea.

 

So I go admin - tools - banner manage but how do I then edit the banner? link to my own page etc?

First off all using your favourite web page editor, you need to make a stand alone page for the T&C's, call it for example comp.htm -

 

Then go to admin->tools->banner management, cand lick on the new banner button, fill in the details (there are some notes at the bottom of that page to help), and that should be it.
