In which order should I install

I have installed my shop twice - once STS4 first then HTC 2.5.7 after that the other way around.

 

Both times it never worked when STS was active. Installations went smooth without errors and site works fine when STS4 is turned off.

 

I would greatly appreciate comments in which order and with what version # of these 2 contributions it worked for you.

 

Right now I would have to hard code my metatags to take advantage of STS4.

"isn't working" as in "ISN'T WORKING"

well I don't really know how to explain it but by installing STS4 and HTC my store should be technically able to have a custom design plus containing customized Titles, Descriptions and Keywords.

 

By saying "it's not working" I mean that I don't have custom Titles, Descriptions and Keywords in my html code.

 

Regardless I deleted everything and restarted from scratch. The question now was just which one should I install first. If it really doesn't matter - which it propably doesn't - I just go ahead and try it on my own.

 

Anyhow if someone could post a comment wether it does matter or not - that would be fantastic.

Ok this is the 3rd from scratch installation and it still doesn't work.

 

This time I used HTC 2.5.7 and STS Plus 4.0.7.

 

Installed HTC first - working great!

 

Then STS Plus - working great until I actually activate it. When turned on I get no customized Titel, Description and Keywords.

 

I also tried " STS Module 1.0_1" which explains to add headertags.php to the template files being used and uploading a new headertags.php into catalog/includes/modules/sts_inc/ folder not changing a thing for me - actually it gets worse:

 

I get the following error message:

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_get_header_tag_products_title() (previously declared in /home/stockph1/public_html/includes/functions/header_tags.php:8) in /home/stockph1/public_html/includes/functions/header_tags.php on line 8

 

Well I am stuck. I was following the manual installation for STS never getting an error message after installation except that last one.

 

What am I missing?
