Is there a contribution for price breaks per category?

Ok I have been working on this site. He wants to add special price breaks for only the items in the Caps category. But he doesn't want it on the individual items he wants it on the total quantity of caps in the cart.

 

Is there a contribution that will do this. I have the one that allows you to set price breaks per product so if I add 25 of one cap in the cart it works fine, but if i add 12 of one and 13 of another, the discount is not there.

No, you can use the regular Quantity Price Break contribution and add in the per category mod described for the SPPC version (it is not SPPC specific). However, there are two bugs in it that I have not changed and uploaded to the contribution section for it to work correctly. They are described here and here.

 

Actually, with a few adjustments (using a new table with products_id and your_own_category_id) you would be able to mix and match all kinds of products. Making an admin part for it is the biggest job ;)
