Linking two products together for physical stock

I am trying to find out if there is a way to make osCommerce link two products that I sell to one set of inventory.

 

For example, I am selling online equipment rentals. The equipment I rent can be used for two separate purposes, and depending on the purpose the cost is different. I need to find a way to make them subtract from the same inventory, so that if a custoemr buys one rental, it removes stock from the other product as well.

 

Anyone know how to do this, or what software can?

you simply duplicate the product as a link to a separate category from your osc Admin->Catalog/Products
