<_<

I have really been hunting high and low to get something like this for my shop. I have about 3000 products with descriptions that I need to install into one shop only. That does not take into consideration that I am in the process of setting up three others.

Everything has gone pretty un :o [bump] eventfull :D so far with the installations if you don't take into consideration the couple of dozens of times that I had to uninstall and re-install to get it right. And that my main page is still not linked to my index page

In any case... I looked in the download files section and there was a app that was really old but kind of what I was looking for, problem is just that I am so stupid as far as php is concerned that you could tell me I am writing in PHP right now and I would probably believe you. I am definitely in the process of learning though.

Is there any other place that I could find a way to load these files with a batch process that anyone knows of, I would really be very grateful.

Thanks,

I don't know if this helps but i just wound up just adding the files directly to the database using an excell spread sheet. you just need to edit 4 tables (5 if anything is downloadable) but it was just copy and paste. it was a breeze.

where/how do you upload the excel spreadsheet to, and where do you get the format from?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi there...here is the link where i found the information at: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...15entry848315

(make sure you scroll up to the top of this thread)

What i did was make up an entry the oscommerce way with all the options and settings i liked, then i exported the database and used that made up entry as a guide.

Let me know if this helps and if you need help let me know

And as far as your idex page and main page not hooking up, i had the same problem, i noticed that there were 2 index pages in my folder: the main index.php page and a blank index.html page. I just deleted the blank html page and my site loads up fine.
