killerwhale65 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 hi, When i change the status of an order (fe pending, shipped ...) a mail is sent to the customer. However the language of this email (i am using 2 languages), does not depend on the language in which the customer placed the order, but on the language of the admin interface where i am sending the order update. Is that correct? Shouldnt it be more logical to have the email sent in the customers language? Because i (admin) am only using 1 language in the admin-part, so i would have to switch for each customer if each customer speaks another language. Please advice. Thanks! Matt how is your website supposed to know what language your customer prefers? you need to look for a contrib if this is important to you
killerwhale65 Posted May 20, 2006 Author Posted May 20, 2006 well, when a customer orders something, it is sent in the correct language, so i think it shouldnt be too hard. Don't ask me how it is supposed to know the language, i didnt write it. I am just asking a simple question so no need to get harsh.
