rdw777
HI there, I hope somebody can help me. My hosting providor recently migarated to a new server and has subsequently changed all the paths, usernames and passwords for my site. Can anyone help me by telling me which os-commerse file I need to update to point an existing install of os-commerse to read an existing database that used to work together? Both the oscommerse installation and the sql database were working effectively before the move, I just need to re-configure os-commerse to tell it where and who the database has been moved to. I have adjusted everything that looked like it needs adjusting in the configure.php files in both the admin/includes/ folder and the /includes/ folder but it still replies with the error message: Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't connect to MySQL server on '0.0.0.0' (111) in /var/virtual/web/w0065/html/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 17 Unable to connect to database server! Any ideas? Thanks in advance Rhys

rdw777
I'm not really sure at all. All I do know is that everything was working fine before they moved servers and now it isn't. Where would I check to see how the db-server is defined and what should I be looking for in relation to the error message? Sorry, for the lateness in my repplying I have been in server and ISP hell the last week or so... Thanks Rhys
rdw777
OK, I get it now.... I hadn't changed the DB_SERVER definition in the configure.php files to the new IP address. Thanks for your help.
