Guest Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Hi there I am such a newbie at using this program but really wanna get to grips with it. The first thingI tried to do was personalise the admin page with a file from the contributors section called "ADMIN TEMPLATE" however when I go to login after installing the files the following appears 1146 - Table 'tarikahm_osc1.admin' doesn't exist select admin_id as login_id, admin_groups_id as login_groups_id, admin_firstname as login_firstname, admin_email_address as login_email_address, admin_password as login_password, admin_modified as login_modified, admin_logdate as login_logdate, admin_lognum as login_lognum from admin where admin_email_address = 'admin@localhost' [TEP STOP] What does it mean??? And what must I do? Thanks
chooch Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Did you add the SQL attached with the contribution? Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
Guest Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Did you add the SQL attached with the contribution? well there was an sql file (I think) admin_table.sql that I added to the main folder directory....sorry I am a little dull when it comes to this stuff, was there something else I was meant to do, or another locationI should have placed the file??
Guest Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 no, you run that file with phpmyadmin. Hosts typically offer database access so there should be an option in your host's control panel to access that tool and run the sql file of the contribution.
