rvdb86 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Hi I am having problems with paypal and hope some one can help me. When an order is confirmed and the site is redirected to paypal the amount is showen as 0. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone know of a fix? Thanks in advance
chooch Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Use a file compare program to check your paypal module with the oscommerce stock one and see if there are any discrepencies. That's a good place to start. Save yourself some time, rather than post a request for the page and wait for a reply, just run a search engine query or download ms2.2 again. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
diana47 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I have simiar problem... and thanks to Maggi from uk I solved the mistery. She just pointed me to chages necessary to make .. currency.. and zones. Set your chosen currency to default in admin Set the default currency in you language file changing currency in module .. and not in language assumes usd.. .so if you using like me for example australian dollar as default and you did not changed in lauguages ...your currency does not exist.. that is why it displayes 0 you can also chage if necessary in paypal.php .. . I did not have to.. as for some reason it paypal does not recognise australia..
