bill2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Yesterday I uninstalled osCommerce and then reinstalled. I then went to my site (on Blue Voda) and under FTP copied the 'catalog' to the root directory. Then I asked for a template and received it as zip file. I also managed to go in the blue admin menu and make some changes to data. I tried making changes per the tutorial and what the tutorial shows and what I see in my own FTP are way off. How do I open the template (already unzipped it) ? How do I make osCommerce fit into my wedsite ? Is there a link somewhere ? Thanks, Bill
chooch Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I can't understand what template you are talking about? Just go to Vger's quick install guide and you should be ok. If you have problems post there and someone help :-) Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
