The customers have ordered and paid via Paypal, but the orders are not showing in the Admin > Customer > Orders Am i missing something, or is there a contribution out that can help.. jasonabc Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 This is a problem with the stock OSC PayPal module. If a customer doesn't return to the store after going off to PayPal, the order is not completed successfully and consequently never shows up in the Admin tool. The PayPal IPN contribution fixed this. Very simple to install as it's all new files that just need FTPing up to your store. Make sure you include EZJam's tax patch. MSP Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 Friends,I had this problem as well, but only with PayPal. My understanding is that if the buyer does not click to be taken back to your site, your site does not get the confirmation that the order completed. Thus is does not show up in your admin or send the order confirmation email. There are older posts about this in the forum and I followed the advice given in one to ... - go to PayPal profile - go to Website Payment Preferences - Turn on AUTO RETURN and specify the URL you want the buyer to be redirected to once the payment is complete PayPal has some requirements about the return to URL so you will want to review them. Since making this change I have not had this problem again. Perhaps other payment processors offer a similar function that will help you to resolve this. Lotsa luck...
