Zone change in php

.....which page is it on? I have searched and searched. I used this method before to set up a shop.........I am going to make a note of everything in future.

 

The one I am looking for is where you simply go into one of the pages in the ftp program and simply alter a 1 to a 3 to give 3 zones.

What are you trying to do?

 

The only case where I can think of this being something that would make any sense to do is when you want to change the number of zones in the zones shipping module.

Definatley did it before on the older software. To add more zones you had to do it through FTP.

 

On this version currently it seems odd and when you set the zones in admin you cannot set the zone of the actual shop as the drop down is blank. I figured this method would work.

 

There is a line of PHP on one of the pages that you simply alter zones"1" or similar to zones"3" and it all works.

You still haven't explained what you're trying to do. Are you trying to literally add zones, or just change a display number?

 

You can manage zones through the admin section under Locations / Taxes.

Ok forget the way I did it then. That must have been a long time ago sorry.

 

Ok on this version:

 

I go into configuration : my store. The default for zone is "florida" when I hit the drop down the list is blank.

 

Any ideas? Thank you in advance :-)

In order to set your store zone, you must create the zone in Locations / Taxes.

I tried that but it didn't populate anything else. I have uninstalled to start again incase it was a bad install. Thanks.
