no links work on my blue admin box,and some images are not showing

Hi very new at this re-instaled 4 times now and got a bit further every time I need to edit the store and my own details but no links will work also check this out some images show load up in firefox but in IE no images at all

 

permission are set right on the two config files 644

 

this what i have in the sesion file

return session_save_path();

 

 

this is my root directory

\My Documents\kobo\catalog\admin

 

do i have to fill in these values in the two config files

Are you sure you're root directory isn't

 

C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\My Documents\kobo\catalog

 

And yes, you do need to fill appropriate values in the configure files.

Thanks for your reply that is my directory there are some values that I did not fill in dont how i have done this but everthing seems to be working fine.
