Link to merchant on checkout contribution?

Hi all and thank in advance for your help.

 

I'm trying to customize Oscommerce so I can link to my merchant. Basically, I want to include my merchant's products in my oscommerce database.

 

After viewing the product.. details.. and if the visitor whish to get the product, instead of clicking on add to cart, it would be change to "Buy" (or something like that) and they would be redirected to my merchant's page. The link would include my affiliate tracking number. I wouldn't need the shopping cart. Has anyone come accross an contribution that would allow me to do that.

 

In the long run I like to promote many products from many different merchant.

i might go to one of the freelance coder sites and get someone to do this mod for me and release it to the community if I can get the spare money together.

If you are planning on getting this developed than I'll split half half with you, how about that?

 

What I'm looking for is simle, it would be design for content site that promote products of others and when visitor wants to get the product their are redirected using my tracking url to the merchant where they finalize the order.

 

It don't know how we could make this work for visitor that would include a few products from your site in a whish list then go on to the merchant site to get it.

 

Or maybe the cart is really a whish list, then where they are ready to checkout the page would display the products with each one with a buy now link to the merchant.
