fresh install and stalled..

HI All,

 

I know, this topic prolly had been beaten to death many times, but here goes.

 

I just bought an oscommerce template from templatemonster. Everything on the hosting side is setup already, including the database etc.

 

according to the instruction and some of the procedures here, once the file is upload and unzip, u just run the /install.

 

my concern or question is this:

do you go through the steps and start the installation, hoping the installation will take care of everything the way they are suppose to be(right out of box). or do you need to change any files or settings on the configuration files and such.

Hi,

 

If you do a search on this forum, you will find quite a few posts dealing with this.

 

If you bought your template, it should have come with instructions.
