i want to set up different tare weight for all of my products,

suppose

Product 1: tare weight 125grams net weight 125 grams

Product 2 tare weight 150grams net weight 250grams

product 3 tare weight 100grams net weight 100grams

product 4 tare weight 250grams net weight 250grams

in admin only one tare weight can be assigned and a percentage can be given for larger packages, does anyone know how can i set up different product weight for all products

Don't look at tare weight as a product attribute, it is actually supposed to be the weight of your shipping box and packing material you typically use. The product weight is what each item weighs (set in the item itself).

So... you have this 200gr box that you put a 250gr item in.

tare weight = 200gr

item weight = 250gr

Go to Administration => Configuration => Shipping/Packing

and enter 200 into tare weight (that applys to all orders as a starting wt)

Go to your Catalog and enter the item weights there.

If your using grams you may want to consider using Kg instead so you don't run into extreamly high values.

Also, you can go to the documents for OSC and checkout e_shippingpackaging.html for more info.

What do I do when I have small items shipping in bubble envelopes and larger items in boxes?

Is there multi-tare add on somewhere?

Thanks
