hi can someone tell me how to set the shipping up id like it to be like this 1=?1.00 2=?2.00 and so on but i do not know how to do it this is my first time

you could use the table rate and asign individual weights to products in the description page and then enter these unique weights into the table for example:

 

0.00:0.00 (this means that no shipping will be charged for example downloads or free shipping and then go on to say 10.00:1.00 that would be anything with weight upto 10.00 would cost ?1.00 to ship, the only drawback of this is if you have the weights set too close together the calculation will skip to the next rate if you have two products in the cart that add up to a different weight. hope this helps
