editing the main page etc.

I"m new here and new with php stuff so please be extra gentle..:)

 

Now that I got the site installed to my liking from the template I purchase off templatemonster.

 

I now need to start making some changes to the main page layout and starting adding contents. I know enough programming with html that I know exactly which section does what. With this oscommerce php thing, I don't know where to begin.

 

Please tell me which file or files contain my page layout? so that i can make proper adjustment.

The page layout is controlled by the files in the root directory. Each of those files calls in the header, column_left, column_right and footer files from the includes directory. Although, most template monster templates remove at least part of this code. The text for those pages are in the files in the languages directory.
