Product Attributes are adding on Weight!

Hi, I have an item that is set to weight=0, I added on two attributes to the item, one being equal to the price listed (e-good), and another attribute that adds on an additional $2 (tangible-good). When I add the product to my cart, and choose tangible-good for an additional $2, it also adds in weight to the item; therefore adding in additional shipping charges (I use a table rate based on weight to calculate shipping).

How do I fix this so that whatever attribute customers choose per item, the weight always stays the same?

Ah, also I'm not able to change the quantity of any item that has attributes!

In case it helps, I've added these contributes: CCGV(trad), Product Notification Stats, and Clear CC Numbers from Orders.

If you do not want to use the weights to figure shipping, why not just try one of the many contributions for shipping?

Base it by how many items or cost or something like that?
