I need to add a 3% handling/processing fee to all orders... and it needs to split up on the invoice (ie as a seperate "tax"). To complicate things, we need to charge sales tax on products that need it and a handling fee on the shipping charge as well. If I enable the tax rate on shipping, it's always there, regardless of whether the product in question has a tax or not. In other words, the sales tax needs to globally added to the entire order not just the products. Right now it seems the sales tax is not being figured onto the shipping charge either...
chooch Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 you already have a low order fee module which you can set to 3% and re-name 'handling fee'... ... and you already have the tax module which you can set at whatever you want. Both are pre-installed in oscommerce so go to your admin and find them under the modules section Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'.
