Shipping Multiple Items for 1 price (Royal Mail)

Hi,

 

I have a problem with shipping.

 

I have set up my shipping module by weight eg:

 

1:1.99,3:2.99,6:6.99

 

When I place an order for 2 items that both weigh 1kg the shipping cost goes to 2.99. I want multiple items of the same weight to show on checkout as the price for that weight eg 1.99 (in this case).

 

However if I buy 2 items weighing 1kg each and a 3rd at 6kg I want the shipping cost at checkout to show the rate for 6kg eg 6.99.

 

In other words for multiple items I want the shipping rate to use the highest weight item to determine the rate.

 

Is this possible?????

 

 

Would also like to be able to remove the weight and scale text from the checkout eg 2 (kgs) so it just says Shipping to UK: then the price.
