ifw Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 hello , i am getting a problem in email facility of oscommerce . in my process i want as soon as anyone 's order get confirmed, is there any way we can sent email immediately. i tried both send mail & smtp but its not working... shouid i have to specify the smtp server name , :huh: if yes, where i have to spcify. please help me . :( thanks in advance ankur bhatnagar , udaipur, rajasthan
Jack_mcs Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Sending an email like this is how oscommerce works. You need to be sure of your server type so the email setting (sendmail or smtp) is correct. If everythinig appears to be correct, download the email test contribution and see what that shows you. Jack_mcs Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 To change the format, you have to edit the code in checkout_pricess.php. If you are not familiar with php, I wouldn't suggest trying it though.
