dds1 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Hi I have read everything on this forum about downloads but none of this helps me to sort out my problem, at first when i turned downloads option to true i got a warning on the top of my site when i was testing it said the following discountdirect-sales.com/public_html/catalogdownloads/ does not exist, i fixed this by adding a new folder to the root directory called catalogdownloads but now when i do test purchases of downlkoads it goes through the checkout process and no link is given to download i have the downloads option set to page redirect and all my files are uploaded to the catalogdownloads folder can anyone help me i would very much appreciate it. :(

Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. 241 Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 the issue is in the path which is being given as catalogdownloads instead of catalog/downloads this is caused by a wrong path in your catalog/includes/configure.php file missing a / for the FS_CATALOG define you should already have a directory called download located in your catalog directory thus you would only require the additional / in your configure.php file No longer giving free advice.
