Hi,

Doing a fresh install of my shop. Before I had errors with my contributions which caused me to have to reinstall my entire site. I think this was because I never set up my temp folder during installation. Is this where I set this up in the installation process? Do I put the cookie path as the name of the folder for temp or do I just create the temp folder first using FTP then put the path to that folder in at step 4 of installation?

Thank you in advance friends,

Selma :blush:

Thanks for your reply,

Here's what I have on step 4 installation page;

WWW.Address: http://Selmastore.com/

Webserver Root Directory: /home/u6/selmacatalog1/secure/

HTTP Cookie Domain: Selmastore.com

HTTP Cookie Path: /secure/temp <== this is where I'm stuck. Is this how I set up cookies to the store?

As you can see by the above, I have ssl certificate so that sort of throws me off a bit on knowing what I have to do. I also want the directory for my temp folder to exist and I want to make sure that I set everything up correctly from scratch[the beginning] This is my 4th time installing this store because my previous installations were screwed up :rolleyes:

Hopefully, with you all helping me, I'll get it right this time :thumbsup:

If not then I'm just a hopeless moron I guess :P

Can I please get an answer to this, I tried doing to fill it out by leaving HTTP Cookie Path box with only 1 '\' and and my store was all messed up. When I was in admin, every entry I edited dissappeared when I cliked update. So I couldn't change the name of store, store owner, or any other entry in the configuration panel.

I am trying to re-install my store (again) from scratch. So I would really appreciate some help with this one.

Thank you,
