miggle Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Okay for my website. http://propagatestudios.com/shop/ I offer musical pieces for sale. Each product has 2 attributes. 1. Download. 2. CD. The customer can choose either. The problem is that Downloads dont require shipping, so when i add a flat rate they get charged for shipping. So that didnt work. So I took off the shipping module alltogether and I attached a +10.00 charge to the CD attribute. Thats fine it works and everything. Except if the customer wants to order more than 1 Item. They will be chaged $10 shipping for every CD they buy. No one would do that. I just noticed this error today, which probably explains why I never have had a multiple order that is shipped. Is there any way around this? Quote

I added both contributions. Then for the current products in my store I set the wieght to zero for all of them for the cd attribute. and then I added a weight of +1 for the download attribute. After that i set up a flat shipping rate of $10.00 and everything seems to be working now. Thx for the answer btw maggilove.
