need an info box on product_info.php

I need to make an infobox for my product_info.php page, which is no problem, the problem occurs when I don't know what files needs to be modified so that the infobox contents can be written to the customer's order and the info carried thru the cart and everything.

 

the box needs to act similarly like the one on this page:

just look at ANY product page and you'll see the "case fresh" box, I need to make something comparable

 

are there any existing contribs that could do this with some slight modifications? ideas?

 

I'm just a novice php/mysql person
