Help - How do I edit text

Hi Everyone,

 

I paid somebody to design a website with a shop front for me.

 

I want to change the text in some of the descriptions, but have no knowledge of how to do it.

 

Any help would be appreciated!!

If you could elaborate a little on what you need changing, then maybe someone will be able to answer your query. Is it the descriptions of products that you are wanting to change? Or descriptions of boxes (i.e. change Categories to Items)

Go into your admin area, click on catalog. Select the category the product is in, then select the product and click on edit.

Thanks a lot, problem sorted.

 

How would I go about changing my password to get into my admin area.

I have bought the site from someone else and would like to change the password so they no longer have access to the shop.
