Easy Populate issues - Easy Populate 2.90

Hello,

I hope someone can help with this add-on. Installed Easy Populate 2.90. The link shows in the catalog section, and successfully links to the upload utility page. Here's where the problems start.

The first error lines are:

Warning: main(includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/candleli/public_html/store/admin/easypopulate.php on line 52

Warning: main(includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/candleli/public_html/store/admin/easypopulate.php on line 52

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/candleli/public_html/store/admin/easypopulate.php on line 52

I've opened the easypopulate_functions.php file and it appears strange (even for a newbie). There's box characters inserted throughout the code, and the php file doesn't end with a ?> comment. It ends with:

move_uploaded_file($filename['tmp_name'], $target);

}

I tried adding a ?> to the file, uploaded it and still have the same problem.

So, do I have a corrupted easypopulate_functions.php file or is there something I've done wrong as part of the install process?

Any help is appreciated.

NEW...

So all errors I receive throughout EP point to: admin/easypopulate.php on line 52. This looks at easypopulate_functions.php. How can I get a working easypopulate_functions.php file?

Whatever file that easypoplate is trying to access it cant find.

The file that should be looked at is /catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 52

If I remember this is where you put the tmp directory information at.

Did you create one if you didnt have one already?

sounds like you need to create a new temp folder in your main catalog folder - file attributes = 777

if at first you do succeed...try not to look surprised!

try the easypopulate contribution thread

Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back!

Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you?

There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere.
