Instruction for SMC shipping by percentage in contribute

Please read carefully! If you need addition help, just post here. I am not very familiar with database and still learning with it. I am sure others are expert with database to help out. Do back up before you install it or test it another site first.

 

You can download at http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1950 for package to install and instruction for reference.

 

1. unzip the smc shipping

 

2. upload 2 smc.php from package where it specific to

1. include/language/module/shipping

2. include/module/shipping/

 

3. go to domain.com/cpanel then click mysql and click myphpadmin it will open new window.

 

4. click osc1 then click sql

 

5. then you have to click browse and find shipzonecode.sql

 

6. log in your admin -> module -> shipping

 

7. click freight rate then install it. adjust upon your desire charge for customers.

 

Tip to make it work for shipping. 92.99:10.00,999999:10% because if you only put 92.99:10.00, 93:10% it will only allow customers order up to 93 dollars... so make it 999,999 so it is unlimited for customers to order.
