Can you add a counter to these ecommerce pages?

My client wants to have a counter on the website. Is there a way to do that or can I use any counter? If I use any counter, where would I safely paste the code, and on what page would that be? THanks for any help!

osc has already a counter showing number of hits of all pages. You could modify that code if you wanted to count specific visitors based on their IP.

 

There are also some contributions that can enhance that. Search for counter.
