I will not list the site, but their URL goes like this;

 

www.mysite.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/105_133

 

On that page is the following, an entire page for a certain manufacturer, lets say the "CHEVY" page then at that URL is a big CHEVY logo, a little text about Chevy, then below is all the items this store sells made by Chevy, each of the 2 items (obviously with product ID's of 105 and 133) can be clicked to a product specific page.

 

I have not seen it done like this.
