Guest Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Hi Folks Ok, I have installed the b2b togather to oscommerce. Everything is working fine and dandy But I'm not sure if this is possible but I wish to have both a wholesale and retail part to the site. So if a customer comes to the site he sees the retail price. If a retailer logs on to the site he can see the wholesale price. Has anybody any ideas? Quote

Guest Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 use the group section to create a group called wholesale Thanks Steve I have this group in place and allocated a relevent percentage discount on retail prices. The little problem is on the main page its showing no prices without some form of logging in taken place, ie not allowing retail customers to even see prices. If fact all it says is log on to see prices, this I find rather put off if people cant see a price without revealing there name and personal details.. these days it seems most sites are after personal details and I don't wish to scare people away before they even purchase items. In the place price should be it shows: Must be logged in for prices Quote

241 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 (edited) There should be a setting in the admin configuration section to allow you to switch on or off the function to hide prices from visitors, thus forcing a login. Change the setting to false and visitors will be able to see prices Hide Prices From Guest false Edited April 30, 2006 by 241 Quote No longer giving free advice.
