abiquiu_gal Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm designing a website for a gallery/store with many consignment items from local artists/craft people. They want to be able to sell their inventory on-line too, so I had looked into a number of shopping cart possibilities and decided to use osCommerce. But I ran into a big problem: my client is using a piece of software for their inventory/sales/reports etc. which they paid over $600 for, and which suits them well. For another $60, they just bought a module which creates (extremely ugly) webpages, but doesn't have a shopping cart. My question: can I use osCommerce with my website, and have it also interact/talk to their local data base? Is it possible to integrate these two? I doubt my client wants to let go of a system that works for them and that they paid money for, but I want to give them a good site! Can anybody here tell me what to do, PLEASE?
