is dreamweaver a safe way to download files then upload to the new server?

the best way to this is download the whole catalog to your hard drive

i plan to do that but i'm only able to download a file at a time using my current server's filemanager. would dreamweaver be a viable method to bulk download/upload files?

do you have a FTP client like "SmartFTP, or Leech"? this one will let you download all at once

i've only got dreamweaver. are these freeware?
