klavarmusic Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Greetings. I would like someone with experience to guide me with regard to the Protx VSP Form integrations with our OS Commerce store. I enclose below what Protx have said and that is about it from them. "To use OSCommerce with your website you need VSP Form or VSP Direct. You stated you did not want to capture the card numbers yourself.".... Do I need to download anything from OS Commerce or are the modules already integrated into the store software? If there are configurations to be done then can someone help with these? We have already had a disaster with Barclays Bank ePDQ last year whereby they destroyed our store and we cannot afford another setback. It has taken us another six/seven months to get the store reinstalled. Please feel free to visit our site at: http://www.klavarmusic.com Although our site/store is up and on the Internet our customers have no means of being able to purchase online... so would really appreciate some help asap. Have been to the link given and downloaded it.... However, what do I do with it now? Do I copy and paste ? Where do I copy and paste the PHP script? klavarmusic Posted April 28, 2006 Author Posted April 28, 2006 Dear kgt, Greetings. Thank you very much for your prompt reply, I have noted your comments and read the instructions in the download file. However, as we had a disaster with Barclays ePDQ which destroyed our former store, I tend to be very cautious as you can appreciate..... so please be patient with me. So I come back to you and ask, where exactly do I copy and paste the code? Is it within the payment modules? Or is there a title in the payment modules that I have to put it in? Would very much appreciate your help with this. Looking forward to your reply. Regards Bridgette E-Mail: [email protected] Quote

klavarmusic Posted April 28, 2006 Author Posted April 28, 2006 Dear kgt, Greetings. Thank you very much for your very prompt reply. As a matter of fact I have not done anything apart from downloading the file and reading the "instructions". The file downloaded was 2005, (Michael Jackson). The PHP version used with Netfirms OS Commerce is 4.3.10 The OS Commerce version is 2.2-MSZ I need to know which folder, sub-folder that the PHP script for Protx goes into, because I know very well that if it does not go into the proper place then the whole store would probably disappear again, and that I do not want. So back to the beginning, where do I copy and paste the script to? Looking forward to your reply. Thanking you. Regards Bridgette Quote
kgt Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 The first line of the instructions says: To install this module you need to copy the files to the correct location. The files they have provided show you the proper directory structure in which to copy the files. There are really only two files you need. The instructions also tell you that the decrypt_protx.php file in the catalog/ directory is for debugging only. So, you need to look at the other folders. catalog/includes/modules/payment/protx_form.php needs to be copied to the same directory on your website. catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/protx_form.php needs to be copied to the same directory on your website It also provides you with spanish and german translations, so if you use those languages, you can install those language files as well. Guest Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 As stated in the other thread on the same subject started by klavarmusic: What has happened is you have not copied the files from the contribution zip files correctly. Looking at the zip file it has the ocrrect files in the correct file structure - they need only be copied to identical places on your site. i.e. the file catalog/includes/modules/payment/protx_form.php should be copied to catalog/includes/modules/payment/ on your website. Like wise the file /catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/protx_form.php should be copied to that place on your webserver this is the step that has gone wrong - the first file has been copied here instead If you try copying the files again into the correct places you should find that your error will be fixed.
