Incomplete orders "sticking" in the admin panel.

I'm not quite sure how to word this, so I'll try my best to describe what is happening and maybe someone can confirm for me whether this is normal, a bug, or a misconfiguration on my part...

I've just setup a new OSC 2.2ms2 with PayPal IPN contribution 1.1

If a shopper adds items to their cart and begins the checkout process, and then backs out before the actual payment process, the order still appears in the admin panel as "Preparing [PayPal IPN]"

Naturally this isn't too big of a deal, because I can easily tell if payment has come through on PayPal for the order, but if lots of these were to accumulate it could be difficult to sort through.

Is this normal behavior for the IPN 1.1 contrib? Or do I need to make an adjustment somewhere?

Thanks very much in advance for any advice!

with IPN used order is placed in data base with the status that is relational to non payment. When IPn notification comes then this is updated.

So if some one is not paying but had done till order then that will be there in the order but with a different order status.

If this is a big problem then you can have a page that can run thru cron and auto delete all this.

But going by experience this might happen for 2% of the order and I feel that these clients you should contact as they might have not succeded in making payment due to some but in your payment gateway code.
