amestres Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 In order to solve the problem of customers not clicking on the "return to merchant" button while in PayPal and thus me getting the payment but not the order, I have installed the PayPal_ipn contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 However, although it seems to solve the problem by creating a "premature order" , now the issue is that I get the payment ok, I can now see the order in admin BUT the customer's shopping cart still contains that last order. Is there a fix for this? Thnak you!

Is there a fix for this? Thnak you! No is the short answer. PayPal IPN is only a short-term fix, not a solution. It still won't properly process the order, which means - no order emails are sent out and the customer's shopping cart is not emptied. It's better than losing an order, but still a pain in the backside!
